‘For coloured girls who have considered suicide when the rainbow isn’t enuf’ is a play written by Ntozake Shange. The Kenyan version is directed by Mumbi Kaigwa. It features some of the regions biggest names including, Mũmbi Kaigwa, Mkamzee Mwatela and my cousin MUTHONI HUNJA amongst others. The show has performed to a full house every night and has even been attended by Margaret Kenyatta and Anyang’ Ny’ongo and his wife Dorothy. The show will be having its last show at the Michael Joseph Center, I hope to see you there.
This is a post is a post i’ve been wanting to put up for a while now. Featuring amazing, colourful rooms. (Because we do not own our own houses yet, lol!) I figured, one could get some ideas for their rooms. Thank me later. 🙂 Today’s post is Muthoni Hunja’s colourful room. 🙂
On her bedside table….
Every girl needs a little corner…
…and a PRICELESS picture. 🙂
Necklaces on a cutlery holder.
Massai stuff 🙂
Still keeping it African.
She hangs her handbags on her tv stand.
When she feels musical she plays this.
Talk about making room for shoes!
Let me know what you think of this post,
